Fenrir's Mayhem 2017: WOD 3 - Annhilator

Photographs were very sparse for WOD 3, but I. Ramirez still took a few here and there. This was partially because I was behind and somewhat out of order on my movements, but she still got some photographs.

Fenrir's Mayhem 2017: WOD 2 - Ullr's Shield

Credit goes to I. Ramirez of Valkyrie Photography for these amazing photographs.  I did very poorly in this event and my main memory of it was my guts going on strike along with all the events prior catching up to me and biting me in the butt.  Still, it was quite the adventure pushing and pulling a 155 lb sled on some pretty high friction terrain!

Fenrir's Mayhem Installment 1/n of WOD 1

These photos of WOD 1 of Fenrir's Mayhem 2017 are courtesy of L. Tevebaugh. This consisted of maximum accumulated weight lifted across 2 deadlifts, 3 cleans, and 4 shoulders to overheads with proper form and lockout.

Cleans... 105 lbs.

Was that 225 lbs or 245 lbs? I just threw plates on pretty hastily to make sure I didn't run out of time because it took me a little longer than expected to do my 3 cleans and 4 shoulders to overheads.

Installment 2/n for Skill Stations and Urban Assault 5k

These photographs are courtesy of I. Ramirez of Valkyrie Photography. As always, she's an amazing photographer and captures some of the best moments.  Looks like she omitted my burpees from the 5k!

The following two wall pictures involved the following trains of thoughts: "Let's see if I can do these..." followed shortly by "Oh !@$%#$%@#%$" and then "Burpees it is!"  And yes, the photographer tried to convince me to climb on the taller ones, but I decided the shorter ones made more sense, and the taller ones would be burpees.

My train of thought: "Getting up is easy... oh @#$%#$%, it's a much longer way down than I thought! What was I thinking doing this OBSTACLE 5k?"

And then there were the pictures from Berserker, which I was very pleasantly surprised that the judge gave to me... unless I did lock out properly and didn't notice it.  This was a single round of a deadlift, hang clean, front squat, shoulder to overhead, back squat, and behind the head shoulder to overhead, all unbroken at 115 lbs.

Urban Assault 5k Installment 1/n

The Urban Assault 5k was definitely a killer, especially in the early phases with obstacles.  I lost count of how many burpees I did, but I lived and finished in under an hour! These are the photographs courtesy of L. Tevebaugh, and I'm still awaiting further photography from I. Ramirez.
