Yesterday was the 50th anniversary of the first atmospheric CO2 measurements from Mauna Loa by C.D. Keeling and the beginning of the construction of the Keeling curves. Heck, if politician and other non-exciting types get celebrated, why not scientists who actually do something exciting?
