The (mis)adventures and thoughts of an aspiring master archer, lifter, and fantasy author who happens to be irresistibly drawn towards wolves, raptors, and parrots. They may say there's no such thing as Paradise or Perfection, yet I'm still searching for them. Why do I keep searching? A voice speaks to me and says: "Search for Paradise and aspire for Perfection"...

Sunshine State Games 2022 2/n
Today was the 900 round. It was *vicious* with the erratic, gusty, swirling winds along with the intermittent rain.

Sunshine State Games 2022 Installment 1/n
Today was the 720 round, which I shot at the unusually close distance of 50 meters. My left side is still recovering from a few not-so-wise things I did prior to Gator Cup, so I opted to shoot Xibalba, my tempest of a longbow. My form is NOT the most consistent with her, but she IS my most effective setup for long distance despite being very temperamental. I did fairly well considering I had A LOT of misses from mis-judging wind or having absent-minded moments with finding my gap because I am so used to shooting 70 meters.

Bolen Bluff and Sweetwater Preserve
On Sunday, I took a bit of a hike in Gainesville because my shoulder needed a little breather to be in optimum condition for the upcoming Sunshine State Games.
