There was a critical fumble on my sight adjustment mechanism while I was sighting in Anduril after adjusting the sight bar and clicker to help move the weight distribution forward.
And then there's some clips I forgot to share of some musical bits I worked on earlier this week.
It was a mixture of preparing for the indoor archery season and my upcoming Olympic weightlifting meet on January 8 today.
And of course, there was getting approximate opening weights for the upcoming meet. I'm looking at possibly a 68-70 kg total opener - 29-30 kg snatch and 39-40 kg clean & jerk.
It was definitely worth the opportunity to restore and revitalize myself among peers as part of an experiment combined with rare opportunities to simply fully nerd out! I desperately needed some time to be among kindred spirits after a little too much time away from sentient life.
So, I did a thing at East River High School in Orlando. It was a 30 arrow round for earning pins as well as a great opportunity to work on my technique for handling awkward situations on the shooting line. I want to give a shout-out to Coach P. McCormick for inviting me to this shoot and putting it on!
And then, there was the post-shoot walk at the University of Central Florida Arboretum, where I got to take a nice look at a prescribed burn site.
